Susan is a native of western New York state and is the daughter of well-known regional artist William Hill. She graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor's of Fine Art in 1976, and has been working professionally since. Her family resides in the Mason Cove section of Roanoke County.

    Throughout the year, Susan exhibits at various shows in western Virginia. You may also see her works on display every day at Studios on the Square, on Roanoke's Historic Farmer's Market. There, you will find a representative selection of landscapes, flowers and wildlife art, as well as the portraits which have been commissioned over the years.
